Liz Boyd

Farough & Associates and Liz Boyd Public Relations are pleased to announce a partnership on projects to serve clients in Michigan.

Liz is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) with a proven track record in public relations, having served two governors, three statewide-elected secretaries of state, and nonprofit organizations.

Liz served as Communications Director and Press Secretary to former Michigan Governor Jennifer M. Granholm, helping to develop and implement crisis communications plans and proactive strategies to support a broad spectrum of statewide initiatives. As one of the governor’s closest advisors, she provided counsel during a time of profound economic transition, helping her to earn the reputation as one of the most respected and longest serving gubernatorial press secretaries in Michigan history.

Following her tenure in state government, Liz has helped guide the communications activities of several non-profits and the winning campaigns of Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack.

Liz is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in Advertising with an emphasis in Public Relations.
